Getting your sauna heater installed

Home sauna heaters

Most home sauna heaters aren’t plug-and-play. They must be hardwired by a qualified electrician on a dedicated circuit like a shower or oven.

What to tell your electrician:
“I’m installing a [X kW] sauna heater. It needs connecting to a dedicated circuit, local isolator, RCD/MCB protection, and testing/certification.”

Commercial sauna heaters

Larger commercial heaters often require a 3-phase supply. Contact us and we’ll provide the exact technical specifications for your electrician.

Rule of thumb: Allow around 1kW per 1m³ of effective sauna volume. Extra glass, tile, stone, and log construction can push the requirement higher.

UK delivery

We offer free delivery in the UK on a range of products over £100. Exceptions to this rule are heavy items such as sauna stones. Due to the large size of many of our products they will need to be delivered on a pallet, sometimes two.

Many larger wellness products such as commercial spas or hydrotherapy baths are shipped straight from the factory. As a result we charge a nominal shipping fee on larger items to cover our costs.

EU delivery

We also offer delivery options for all countries inside the EU. We generally use DACHSER as our EU courier but we reserve the right to change this at any time. There are also a range of free delivery options for orders exceeding certain amounts.

International delivery

Whilst we have not implemented a facility for international delivery at the checkout we do ship beyond the European Union. You will need to contact us and we can agree shipping costs and delivery dates over the phone.

How long until my order is delivered?

It’s important to understand that many of the high quality wellness products we sell are specialist products not available in either the UK or many European countries.

As a result lead times vary from brand to brand. Products in each brand can also have varying lead times. Rest assured our lead times are the same or faster than our competitors.

Products such as accessories, sauna heaters, steam generators etc.. are generally in stock and can be delivered within a few days to a week. This also covers massage tables and accessories.

As a general rule the more expensive the product is the longer the lead time. This will be because in many instances your purchase will be manufactured to order.

Lead times for expensive products can be up to 30 days. Some spa tables and sauna kits may also have lead times of 30 days, but usually arrive much sooner.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding lead times please contact us and we’ll gladly assist in any way we can.

Customising your product further

You’ll be pleased to learn that many of our wellness products can be further customised to ensure a perfect fit.

Typically this can be accessories such as sauna interiors, glass sections and so on. Notably, we can even make bespoke adjustments to pre-fabricated sauna and steam room kits.

Leisurequip will consult with you over the wellness products you’re interested in. Our experts will then provide you with a quote and timescales for the adjustments.

Description

Long and elegant, the Helo Himalaya is a home sauna stove that’s part of a new range utilising their ingenious WT (water technology). Once placed into your sauna heater, the WT ‘shuttle’ quickly humidifies your room during the warm-up process.

WT also allows aromatic scents and mineral salts to be added to the built-in water container. Containing a substantial 100kg of sauna stones, this exceptional, great value home sauna stove will deliver a truly magnificent sauna experience.

Note: WT (water technology) is essentially a shuttle insert that expands the options of the sauna heater. This allows for soft sauna and aromatherapy.

Now the whole family can enjoy a multitude of sauna wellness experiences, made deliverable by WT. Colours for the Helo Himalaya sauna stove include Black and Chrome.

Note: If you opt for no control panel you will still need the Tylo Elite or Tylo Pure plus Helo WE40 relay box to operate this heater.
