Tylo are the worlds oldest sauna and steam company having been in business for over 70 years. Originally called Tylö AB Sweden the company was founded by Sven-Olof Janson and was named after Tylösand which is local to Halmstadt where the company was created.

Move to the present day and Tylo saunas, steam rooms, sauna heaters, steam generators and more are sold in 90 countries around the world. Their commitment to innovation, design and quality are unmatched in the sauna & steam industry. What’s more, their driving philosophy has allowed the company to expand into the wellness industry as a whole and to become a much loved and respected brand.

In 1951 a member of the Finnish consul approached Sven-Olof Janson and asked him to improve the design and reduce the costs of existing sauna heaters. The resulting designs were a complete success and both parties were convinced there was a market to expand into. By 1960 they had moved into a new factory and the Tylö brand was born.

Now the wellness industry both in the UK and globally is all pervasive and Tylo are well-positioned. Their continued expansion and innovation means this exceptional brand is moving from strength to strength.
