Home or commercial bespoke saunas.

There are some key differences between bespoke home saunas and their commercial counterpart. For example, domestic or home sauna rooms will have accessible sauna heater controls. These can be on the heater or as a control panel outside the sauna.

With a bespoke commercial sauna it will have a control panel which can only be accessed and controlled by the staff and not the public. See the Tylo Pro range of commercial saunas which also allow for disabled access, extra strong panelling and benches.

Materials we use.

We can design & build your bespoke sauna room using a huge range of quality soft & hard woods. Traditional sauna woods include: Spruce, Aspen, Cedar, Hemlock, Thermal Treated Aspen and Alder.

The wood we use will depend on the type of sauna and it’s everyday use. Aesthetically, the hardwoods such as Cedar, Adler, Hemlock and Aspen are better and higher grades of wood.

They are also more expensive. Traditionally most of our bespoke installations use spruce. This is also the least expensive. Tylo also offer a full 1 years parts warranty on any materials purchased.

Design & features.

The initial design process would start with a meeting to discuss your ideas. We will then draw up an artist’s 3D sketch to bring our discussions to life.

On agreement the unique design is sent to you or your architect for approval or modification. Once the design is agreed a manufacturing drawing will be produced for sign off. We can send you examples of previous designs on request.

Compliment your unique sauna experience by adding extra features and details. You can add fibre optic LED mood lighting, soft natural wood and contemporary interiors. We can also add, stone walls, salt block walls, starry skies or fibre optics. Other additional features can be auto fragrance and water dispensing.

The attention to detail we can provide are definitely the peak of home and commercial saunas design. We can guarantee every feature of our bespoke saunas will be suitably and carefully chosen for quality, style & durability.

Every small feature of your tranquil and personal sanctum will be carefully and properly planned. We aim to ensure the perfect atmosphere is created.

Sauna heaters.

The type of sauna heater will of course be dependent on whether you’re having a bespoke home or commercial sauna. We will offer you a suitable recommendation during our initial consultation.

For home saunas we recommend the Sense Sport, Sense MPE, Sense Plus, Sense Combi, Expression, Expression Combi and Air. For commercial sauna heaters there are the Expression Combi, Expression, Air, SK, SD, Megaline OC and the Megaline SK.

We can also source any other high quality sauna heaters or you can source your own. You will however be responsible for the heater as it will not be part of the supply package.

Bespoke sauna installation.

When installing your bespoke sauna we will need space to cut and assemble some parts on site.

The site would need to be dry and nearing completion before we start the installation. You can expect wood cutting and dust. We can provide a method statement, health and safety plus risk assessments should they be required.

With a standard sauna cabin installation will take 1 – 2 days. With a bespoke installation it can take longer. If for example you require bespoke frameless glass it can take 6 – 7 weeks. The sauna would be built within the first week but a glazing survey and drawing would be produced for sign off.

The glass would be manufactured off-site. Leisurequip would then return, commission and hand over. You can expect a properly coordinated and efficient installation.
